LAT RECEPTION
The LAT reception is a dinner forum where local
legislators hear from the NJEA Officials. Here the
NJEA position on current educational issues are the topic and
local legislators also give a short address. The county association
would like to have each local provide at least 10 people to attend this
function. Please see your local president about attendance or contact
your county office. scea15@earthlink.net

NEW MEMBER FAIR
All new members to the NJEA and our County
Association are encouraged to attend this informative gathering. An
introduction as to what one receives from membership in the NJEA
is offered by our UNISERVE and NJEA representatives. Your rights and
privileges will be presented. If your a new member within the last 5
years and have not attended this function feel free to sign up. Dinner
is served. scea15@earthlink.net

25 YEAR RECOGNITION DINNER
Each year the County Association hosts a
dinner in honor of all NJEA
members who have served in education for 25 years. It does not matter if the
service was in different districts. The only requirement is that the
recipient has served 25 years while being an NJEA
member. A dinner is paid for one attendee and a guest by the County
Association. There is a cash bar at 6:00 PM. Each individual is
recognized. Members are encouraged to have family and friends attend.
Seating is limited so please register early. It is not unusual for
locals to have members close to the recipients in attendance. Added
attendees are charged through their local association for attendance.
Eligible members should register through their local president.

Meet and Greet Legislators February 1st, 2011 4:15 PM
Lafayette House
Take this opportunity to meet and hear our local legislators
and representatives offer information about what is going on in Trenton while
munching on excellent HORS D'OEUVRES. Questions can be posed and
individual discussion is not unusual. What goes on in Trenton directly affects
education and the lives of educators. This event has had our local state
senators, assembly men and women, County freeholders, and statements from
US congress and senators in the past. These politicians take the time to
attend so members, please consider this event. Attendance by any and all
county association members is encouraged. Attendance is handled through
the county office. scea15@earthlink.net
